Default AMP not getting power. Check it out (diagram)

Hey guys whats up,

Well here is the problem, I blew my old JVC Head unit to I took out my sub amp etc....

Well my friend just threw me a Pioneer Headunit for free,
That way I would have music in my car,

I hooked everything up. Cut and soldered all wires. All speakers work.

I went to hook my amp up. Well I cant get power to it.

Here is how everything is.

I cant seem to get power to the amp.

I accidentally touched the Power wire with the Ground and yeah Spark.
I then took off the power wire and touched the grund to the power hookup on the amp and the Power LED come on and then fadded away.

Well help me out guys, thanks!

have you checked the fuse on the main power cable for the amp? If it spark it is likely that it blew a fuse.

Yeah I replaced the fuses on the amp, they were blown.

But still when I hook the power cable to the power spot on the amp nothing/

But it all works now perfectly when I hooked the power cable up with the Remote cable in the remote cable hookup.

so something is wrong somewhere, But it does work now. and hits hard\

That or the problem is its a POS Jensen Amp.

POS Jensen amp, POS Pioneer Headunit.

Its only untill October when I get a school break, I'll wire the entire car and get all new ICE.

is the amp turning offf when you turn the car off? If not then you will end up with a dead battery in no time.

okay im really confused now

has to be one of two things:

A-if you connect the remote wire to the battery input (basically a jumper) and the amp powers on- your radio has a dead remote output.

B-if you connect/jump the battery to the remote side and the amp powers on ( I really hope it doesn't) you have a blown main fuse in the amp line by the battery.

I hope this helps

if you have a bad output on the radio for the remote, connect the remote wire to the ign wire, it will turn on and off with your key
