Default Timing belt Help

i have a B16a2 and im just curious on this here it goes! my timing belt is looser on the side facing towards you when you open the hood and the other side closest too the fiirewall is tight as hell!

whoever did the timming belt didn't do it right. I think the helms tells exactly how to tighten it correctly. pretty much when its on you loosen the tensioner bolt, turn the crankshaft so the oil pump gear goes counter-clockwise 3 teeth, then tighten the tensioner bolt to 33ft.lbs? I may have missed a step but that's the proper way to do it. I would say redue it just to make sure you don't hurt your valvetrain

nobody did the belt wrong just because of that... that just means the slack is ending up at the front when you cut the motor off...normal
