timing belt
i think honda quoted me something in the $800-$1000 range. i just bought all the parts and did it myself for something like $200. these prices are for water pump, all belts, and all new seals. honda sells these as a "timing belt change package".
not to hard on your own. if you do take it to a shop, take it to someone you trust but not the dealership. they will rape you. and if you have an h22 convert to h23 manual tensioner.
Goodyear charged $800, but it's better to get the kit and get the pump, tensioner, and all that replaced. I got it done once, and they replaced everything but the tensioner which broke about 6 months later and cracked my water pump, had to replace everything all over again. That sucked.
