Civic SEcurity System
I don't have an OEM alarm for my civic, but i found this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...25201
How would you install this? Are there any wiring that you would need? Is this just a plug and play type? I have a remote door, will my remote turn this alarm on if i remotely lock the doors? The Green Plug at the back of the alarm, is there pins that goes there and one that goes to my stereo?

You sir, are an idiot...
That is, indeed, an alarm. It's Honda's factory alarm, which nestles neatly inside the pocket on the 96-98 Civic radios. It plugs in using the unused green security plug on those cars.
That unit is not keyless entry. The keyless entry module resides in the factory radio on those cars.
However, with that said, although it is an alarm, it is a very basic alarm. It will only provide protection if someone opens a door or trunk. It will not alert if the hood is opened or a window is smashed.
With that unit, you'll have some protection, and it will arm and disarm with lock/unlock from your keyless entry remote.
It's not as good as a well installed brand name security system (Viper/Compustar/etc) but it's better than nothing.

most factory alarm sucks azz. My pop's boss 355 ferrari came with a bitchen 2-way. I never seen one like it. But what do you expect when you drop 250 g's
I agree with both B18C_EJ8 and wrx-killer-Sti eater the unit is an oem alarm, [made by Alpine] for your Civic, it is as has been mentioned very basic, only opening a door or trunk/hatch or turning on the ign. will trigger the alarm. dcautogroup you are only correct about "if your window gets poped" but not for the right reason, although I do agree it's not worth getting.

It's a type of alarm that communicates with the transmitter... Commonly referred to as a paging alarm...
