ok... i jumped the harness my question is how soon show i start reading the blinking lights.....because as soon as the key hits on it blinks pauses then followed by 4 consecutive blicks is this code 14 IAC (EACV) - idle air control valve? and can this put my car into limp mode. im ruinning a D15B Vtec bye the way

 

ps my car does have an iratic idle.. its really low and it bounces like i have cams..... or cam i should say

I usually wait till it repeats. but make sure you wait to make sure there isn't two codes.

 

so if 4 consecutive blinks keeps reapeating over and of and over again its 4?

 

4 short blinks - pause - 4 short blinks - pause - etc
means there is a problem with your CPS. (CEL-4)

long blinks are the 10's digit, short blinks are the 1's digit.
long flash, long flash, short flash, short flash, short flash, short flash = 24

 

expletive dude i was hoping u wouldnt say that... i just replaced that sensor with a brand new one today
