do you have to run higher octane fuel in a vtec motor. and what oil do you use? and by that i mean like 10w30 5w30 etc.

 

you only need high octane for high compression engines. d series are fine on 87 but i think you need at least 89 with some of the b's H and K series. use whatever oil is recomended, prolly 5w30, some ppl like to use 10w30 in the summer, and 5w30 in the winter, i would stick with 5w30 myself.

i use 92octane...oil i use royal purple 5w30 or 10w30...in my LSV

Regular fuel will run fine & 5w30 is the recommended oil for your engine.

 

what should i run if i decide to turbo it?

 

boosted applications get hot and use more oil. i always run 20w-50 with turbo/sc engines. and then you'd for sure need premium.

GSR engine N/A requires Premium too.
