What do i need to convert my non-vtec LS to a VTEC
hello
i did a search and did not find what i want
i have a b18b1 LS integra and want to make it a VTEC
if i swap the cylinder head with a vtec version will this be possible and how good is this particular block for turboing
what parts will i need to do this i am guessing a VTEC head
vtec switch inlet manifold ,manifold, different ecu and wiring
please can somone advise me
and has anyone done this =

putting on a vtec head on a ls block is called 'ls/vtec'
search harder next time

ls/vtec is not poor at all for making power. far from it actually.
are you trying to compare a built all-motor ls/vtec to a turbo'd unbuilt b18b? if so, then of course the unbuilt turbo b18 will make more power. turbo just makes more power than all motor.

they make a kit that you need. even comes with the tap, to tap the head. but if you didnt already know what LS/VTEC is you prolly wanna leave that part to the pros
or buy a vtec block also!
