I just swapped in a gsr into my del sol, and the del sol dohc vtec shift linkage does not fit. It is about 2-3 inches short of reaching the cabin of the car to where it is bolted onto. I got the linkage from a member on here who claims and swears he pulled it from a b16 del sol, but it just isn't long enough in my car with the gsr.

Has anyone with a b-series swap in their sol ran through this problem (if it truly is the right linkage)??
I really need to get my car running, can anyone help me out here? If someone can measure how the long the vtec shift linkage is, it would really help so I can compare with the one I have. thanks!

if i had to say, it's really not a dohc delsol linkage.

When doing the LS swap for my delsol--before i was told about the only linkage i could use, the integra linkage i had fell short also--just as you described.

 

anyone have the measurements for the del sol dohc linkage?

i put a b16 in to my del sol ordered the shift linkage through honda so i know i got the right one. i didnt have any problems with it. when you look at the shift linkage does it kinda have a c-shape to it. if its the right one then it should line up .
