I picked up my 91' crx a couple months ago and it is now running strong with a d16z6+turbo. I'am going to tackle the interior/exterior problems now and now for my question...
I live in FL (read: HUMID and HOT) and the rex doesn't have a/c which I don't mind since it is my weekend car; my problem is the car smells and feels sticky/nasty. I have bought two air freshners and it works for a little while for the smell.
What do you guys do about this?
Will new seat and carpet help alot? baking soda?

Mine never leaked because i took care of it. Point is if it leaks that will explain why it smells and has issues. If it doesnt leak then try using a sunshade and or cracking windows...drive with the windows down a lot and dont buy cheap air fresheners
I assume you are talking about it smelling like sweet and BO
since your saying its hot and there is no AC...well it probably wouldn't hurt to maybe pull out the seats and caprpet and give them a good shampooing/cleaning and then clean the floor pan and what not too...I say take them out so they can dry properly out side of the car and not have the water sitting in the car...you can pull the entire interior minus the dash in about and hour if you know wherer the screw/bolts are...just a though...i pulled mine out since my pass door leaked and the carpet just held the smell of mold its been out for a while since i never have time and the leak is off and on but i clean my intereior and its perfect now
