hi all! after my swap...i noticed that my speedometer doesn't work anymore. i'm thinking that it is cause of the tranny.

when i am in reverse, it clicks...and that is the only time it'll ever click. any idea on what is causing that clicking noise? is my reverse gear busted somewhere?

the car still reverses fine, but clicks..and it is an annoying clicking.

any help will do...

some lsd's click in reverse. what tranny is it?

 

the tranny is a y21. how do you check to see if it has lsd? can you see it or you have to take it apart?

 

it clicks when you shift it in once? or you shift it into reverse and it's a constant click?

 

pop out the axles and see if you can see through the tranny

 

i think all trannies do that dont they

i know if you press in the clutch go to forth, still have the clutch in then go to reverse it doens't do that click sound

You are right, it sounds abnormal. Subscribed, because I've never heard of this happening

 

Check your fluids mine has a slight click if you depress the clutch while it isnt in gear at idle sitting still
