better tranny for d-series turbo??

Default better tranny for d-series turbo??

which do you think is a better tranny for a sohc turbo?

an ex/si or a dx?

Depends how much power you plan to make, but the EX/Si transmission is generally the best option for a D-series.

shorter gears are always better for acceleration, period.

QFT.

If you want to be as fast as possible you'll always want the shortest geared transmission you can find, unless you start trapping over 125mph in the 1/4 an EX/Si trans will be fine.

I have a dx tranny on my d series boosted. Wish I would have done Si/Ex tranny but didnt have funds at the time to buy one. My dx tranny works and highway pulls are nice cause you don't have to shift as much. But if i was you i would go Si/Ex
