i got a 1991 honda crx, and it doesnt have the stock muffler, i was wondering, i cant find it in the junk yard, can i use a 1991 honda civic muffler hatch back muffler, will it bolt on directly, it looks like it will, what do you guys think, i found a hella of alot there

 

no it wont bolt up

 

You just need the rear portion of the exhaust? if so it will bolt right up..

 

yesh i just need the last part, you know how its the CAT and then the catback, up to wher there is a FLANGE that bolts up to another flange that has a pipe to the muffler

i need the flange pipe to mufffler, ive been trying to find it, becuase i have a modified exhaust and the cops got me for driving and they checked out my stuff, i got the car with that muffler , didnt do it by choice so now im looking for a stock one, i just need the last part, that has the muffler piping and to the flange,

ive seen some from a HONDA civic 1991 they look similar, what do you think?????? , im gong back to pick and pull tomorow,

 

^88-91 civic hatch and crx axle back exhausts are the same thing,so yeah it will work assuming the midpipe on your car is correct and not some custom piece from the previous owner..

 

oh yeah mines modified, he did a whole new pipe, but ill take it to the muffler shop and get a flange welded on , and hook it up, i just want it to look stock so the cops wont be messing with me, i dont race, or speed, and i still get messed with, WTF. proboly the way i look. but thanks big help MR.SPEAKER ill do that tomorow, thanks for the help
