Default Chipped pm6 I know we got some smart people here so help me out

Hi, recently I chipped my pm6,b18a1 crx i burnt the pr4 bin on the chip and socketed it into ecu, and installed it back into the car. The car has absolutely no check engine lights or anything, however it acts like there is a rev limiter at around 3200 rpm, it just bounces there and I have to shift.
I was forced to stick the auto pr4 back in the car (damn egr CEL) 8( till I can figure out whats wrong
Just wondering what things can cause this? Bad bin maybe? chipping error? doubt this my solders looked clean 8)

usually a bad bin or chipping error causes a solid CEL...

8( I just downloaded the stock pr4 bin from xenocrons site and burned it/socketed it, this should work right? I'm not sure if I got my first bin off xenos site so maybe this will fix it it's to late to fire her uip and rev the crap out of her to check though It's good to know if my soldering was off it would show a solid cel though !

If cel light was not working, I would not be getting the EGR CEL code when I use the auto pr4 ecu, so yes it is definitely working.

Ah, true, damn you 2am...anyway, hmm. It certainly sounds like limp mode, but without the cel. Are you using a 256 chip or a 512?

Perhaps your checksum is incorrect?

Ninja edit: If you wanna buy a very slick usb programmer that only has one cable and is in a nice shiney case for only 60 shipped, lemme know.
