D15B2/D16Z6
Hi, brand new guy here. New to Handas and this site. Just bought an 88 civic.
Question is: The engine in the car is stamped D15B2. Is this the correct engine?
The sale came with another engine- D16Z6. The guy had planned a swap. Any thoughts?
Thanks

That's the correct engine for a DX. Yes.
Swap will be good for more power, but you'll need to convert to MPFI and possibly obd1 (I'd recommend it just to run the stock ECU but you can chip a pm6 to run the z6).
