How do I race with GSR?
I'm not really good as a racer yet. I just need some practice just in case some ******* wants to beef with me. Anyways, I've heard that you don't let the RPM go below 3000 or something. Rev it up in first and dump the clutch at 3000 RPM?
and what about double clutching?, how does that work and how do you do that? I heard that you tap on the clutch while in 2nd and your foot is still on the gas.
Also with a GSR motor, it can go up to the redline in first and all the gears correct?
what's the best way to do it?
thanks.

Yes I was launching at 8k also on 25" slicks. When my 2000 Si was stock and street tires I would launch at 6000rpm, anything lower I would bog bad! Some others state they launch any higher than 3k and they spin, I never had that problem.
Your launch RPM all depends on your set up, how much whp/wheel torque? Slicks, drag radials, street tires? etc etc etc

1st, do this only on a dragstrip. Don't be another douche bag tryin to prove he's tuff **** on the streets. 2nd, find a nice set of of slicks or drag radials to practice with. It's hard to find an accurate spot to launch your car on reg. street tires. Also using these will improve your 60 ft. If your running a stock motor, maybe a set of 20" slicks will work, minor all motor cars would use 22"'s and anything more, you get the idea 3rd, PRACTICE!!!

LOL
I always love seeing those guys at the track. They would rather spin through 1st and 2nd gear to show everyone how tough they are, haha.

WTF? y whould you want to double clutch. stop watching the fast and the freaking furious.. and do some research. The only reason you whould want to double clutch is if your snycros are worn out..
haha, yeah. I love too how these guys talk about about the elusive "double clutching" HAHA, it sounds sooooo GAY!!!!! My advice to ppl. on the track it "JUST DRIVE THE CAR!" if your syncros are worn out then i think you need another tranny before you step foot on the track.

On that old set up of mine I was running a T4/T67 with a p trim turbine wheel in a .68 A/R turbine housing. Made 676whp and 402 ft-lb torque with 27-28psi
