ok, summary

1. hit starter with hammer, see if that helps. yes i know it's ghetto, boohoo, whatever, try it, lol

2. use the multimeter and a helms manual to check your
-main relay
-igniter
-coil

the main relay is under the dash and can be re-soldered instead of replaced. it's on the driver's side. the igniter and coil are inside the dizzy behind the rotor. phew.

oh, also check your grounds and battery terminals for corrosion. i forget who suggested that but he was right. very possible.

I also reply in the last thread,
is your battery connection clean meaning the positive and negative on mine when it was build up with acid I would be able to start it up and the car would warm up and then I shut it off I couldnt start it again for a while. also check your battery ground wires that go to the tranny that might be lose and check your positive battery wires that goes from the battery to the starter sometime the wires could be build up with corrosion.

To check your external coil to see if its firing, disconnect that wires that go into the dizzy and put it by the shock towers and have someone start the car to see if its firing, remember dont hold it or else you're going to be a big shock.

doub theres any corrosion, the person i bought the car from has the battery in the trunk wich is kinda cool i guess but the battery looks new and cables look fine, but maybe a ground up by the motor??

EDIT: also its not turning over so im not worried about gettin spark yet, i just wanna get it turning over, and if its not sparking then ill work on that haha, can a bad ground cause it to click and not turn over or would it not clikc at all with bad ground

on the teg it's not. it shouldn't be on the lude. a bad ground could cause it. hard to tell until you start getting into it and tracking things down. check the obvious and stupid stuff first. main ground from battery, etc etc.

also check the clutch switch. you never know...

I would try to jump start it because like you said the battery was move into the trunk sometime the wires that he used might be to small to carry the current that it need to start the car, and yes check the battery ground, since the battery is in the trunk make sure its ground some where close and check to make sure that the area that it is grounding to is bear metal and not paint.

wait.. you were able to jump start the battery?... I would think you need a new battery and not a new starter...

it JUMP started or ROLL started? totally different. either way, we've eliminated the igniter/coil/main relay theories. it's either your starter or your battery now.

if you were able to JUMP START your car then bring your battery to like autozone or somewhere and get it test and if it test fine, then its the battery cable. the one that the guy used to move it into the trunk was probably to small to carry the current you'll probably need something bigger like in the 0 gage or 1 gage wires.
Reason being is I used to have a trunk battery and I used 2 gage wires and had a hard time starting sometime.
