Hey, recently I've been looking into cleaning up my engine a bit. The first things that I noticed were those reservoirs, PS, Coolant, and windshield washer fluid (GAY!). Well this weekend the entire washer fluid system goes bye bye . I attempted to paint the coolant reservoir a flat black and it looks quite nice. Check my site in my sig if your interested in seeing it. But I still kinda want more. I was considering painting my valve cover gunmetal and the letters a flat black, and some new spark plug wires for sure . Do any of you guys have any suggestions? I was kinda wondering where I could move those reservoirs to, perhaps the coolant one can go somewhere behind the bumper or where the old washer fluid one was . Oh well, please post all of your suggestions. Thanks.

 

Well, normally I'd say it was stupid to remove the windshield washer system.. Seeing as how you live in Dallas, I guess you don't have shitty road salt and snow problems. I was doing something very similar to that to my Civic. I had a million great ideas for placement until it dawned on me that I may have to FILL these someday, so , keep that in mind. I moved my coolant under the bumper for a while. I ended up just moving it back and painting it. Speaking from experience, if you can get the look you sort of want without moving anything, do it that way, it's much safer. Either way, good luck... I'll post pics of what mine did look like so you can get an idea.
