Default car wont start....help

ok ill briefly explain this. put the key in it primed for a few secs and then went off so then i turned it over and it souned as though the battery was dead becuase it was turning over so slow. so i never tested it, it just seem obvious that itw as the battery. so i swapped battiers out of my other car (thats all i did was swap batteries and now i turn the key and it doesnt even prime. the SRS light goes off after about 10 seconds but my check engine light stays on. i turn the key and nothing happens, it kinda sounds like when you dont have the clutch in and start the car. WHERE CAN I START?

checked power to starter.
tried new starter.
checked all fuses.
checked engine codes but there is nothing. the engine light just stays on it never blinks.

Bad ground or a bad cable. Did you clean up the terminals and the cable ends on that battery for a solid connection?

If nothing like that works, I suggest testing the resistance in the cables. The dealer or a website should have specs for resistance in the cables. Ill see if I cant come up with something......

yea that is true, but if you have a high resistance on the battery cable it would still work. try to check the resistance to the cables and maybe do a cable to post voltage/resistance?

its all good guys, i totally forgot about the tranny ground. i had a long wrech resting between the tranny and chassis. i guess that was a good enough ground to make the starter turn slowly. anyways i used that same wrech to take off the battery and then i put the wrench back in the toolbox. therefore i had no ground at all when i put the new battey in because the wrech was gone and the ground cable i forgot about. ahahahah. who would have thought
