what is the best motor oil for a HMT setup??

Default what is the best motor oil for a HMT setup??

hey guys im doing a d16y7 motor with about 45,XXX miles on it and im doing a HMT setup with a t25 and about 10psi. what is the best motor oil to run? with my SETUP. can someone please help me. thanks in advanced h-t members.


is mobile 1 synthetic oil 5w=30? good for turbo chargers? and my y7 with low miles. prox 45,XXX miles

I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W30, and change it very frequently.

I love Royal Purple 5w30 in my hatch, it has never coked the bearings in the turbo at all. not even changed colour after 2500 miles, @28 psi.

But just use a quality synthetic. ANY quality synthetic. Everything else you will hear is just peoples opinion about what brand they think is best. you will just start a war.

Motul 5w40.

Ain't cheap, but it's good oil.

do you read?

any major brand or tuner mag advertised synthetic, is a good oil.
