Ok well I own a 95 cx hatchback, I bought it for $2,400 and it had a few blemishes especially on the front and rear bumper covers. So I'm getting a new OEM front and rear bumper cover for my car right. Well I noticed that on the cover the three grills are different on mine, like the two little outside grils are painted frost white while teh inside big grill is black. and then it is black on the bottom of the bumper to look like a lip ya know. I have seen other civics with the grills painted differently like mine and I was wonderign what is the factory way that they cam on a 95 cx hatchback that is frost white?? Like are the outside grills paitned or not.

--Also i remember reading all 92-95 civics have teh black trim on the bottom of each bumper covers right. Not blakc trim just not painted or painted black from the factory. Well my rear bumper is all white no black line at the bottom. Is taht the way it cam from the factory?? or should there be a black line ???

Any help appriciated.

 

I was told the front bumper if from a 94-95, has the outer grilles painted, but the middle one left black, as well as the lower "lip" you speak of. I'm not really sure about the back bumper, because I have seen both. Some have the black on the bottom, some don't. Personally, If i had the choice, I'd have the black line going all around the bottom, looks so OEM that way.

I'm 95% that all the grills are black on a 95 cx

i have a red 95 cx the middle grille and front lip are black......they dont come with a rear lip! trust me!!!!

 

No Lip duh. Its kinda a look alike. Where the lower part like and inch from the bottom is painted black. Not an actual lip.

 

I drive a 94 EX, and my center grill is black, and my outer grills are the color of my car. I have a black lip on the front of mine also.

ok so you guys thionk i should paint my new OEM bumpers the same STOCK so black insidfe grill and painted outside grill

 

I hate the painted outside grill but if you want it to look like the year you have then paint them. I would leave them black
