Default 96 EK with 00 power windows??

I currently have a 96 ek hatch and found a complete 00 civic power window conv kit. It comes with the door harness's and the floor harness. but my question is, will the 00 floor harness and door harness's plug up to my 96?

i want to say no because 99-00 window box (sorry i dont know the correct name) it is located under dash and the 96-98 is located in the driver door. that the only thing that stand out that i can think of...but i could be wrong...as long as you have the complete harness...the fuse box connectors are the same...sorry i hope this help

for my setup all i need was that window box and a green plug for the fuse box and i made my power window setup work...i had to find each color of the wire and find which is power and signal for power windows...

i actually converted my 97 cx to power windows with the 96-98 kit.....I would suggest you just find a 96-98 kit on ebay like I did. The 99-00 actually might work with the right wiring and connections, but why deal with the hassle. Once you start tampering with electrical...Well you know the rest...Play it safe man, good luck

like what everyone is saying...if you have the patient and time to figure out which wire is which...you can make it work...but that alot of research...but the best way for plug and play effect is to get the correct harness for the correct chasis

door harnesses are the same 96-00.. http://repo.jackmoves.com/v/erik/album106/ this the site to check out, very detailed with pics.. shows how to repin your floor harness so that your rear window wiper will work if you have a hatch.
