Power doors on 00 cx
Im planning on wiring up power doors (windows/locks) onto my 00 ek hatch. I bought complete doors off a em1 si that has everything (panels, windows, motor for the windows, window regulators, switches, harnesses) pretty much the complete doors. I understand that you need to run the floor harness off a civic w/ the power door options. I only want to wire up the power windows, not the power locks because i already have custom power locks wired up to a different switch. Now the only thing i dont have is the floor harness. My question is, do i still need the floor harness to wire up the power windows for both passenger and driver doors? Or, can they be wired up without the floor harness??

I found that on the site provided above....kinda helps...but is there any easier way...like tap into the fuse box?....i dont care about the power windows part.

I use this, worked like charm. The only thing i did different intead of using the battery as the 12v power source i used the ligther wire all i did change the fuse to a 20a and then added a 7.5a fuse to circuit going to lighter...

It's a lot less headahce to just get the harness.</TD></TR></TABLE>
