Default Another Ground Control question (spring length/full droop)

I just installed my Koni/GC coilovers on my Prelude, with each lower spring perch adjusted about halfway down the threaded sleeve. With the suspension at full droop, the springs aren't long enough to fill the gap and they just drop down from the strut tower. I feel this is kind of ghetto, since I'll be extending the suspension to full droop on the track, and the springs will just be sitting there clanking around, reseating themselves when I put weight on them again.

Is this the way it's supposed to be? The Koni shocks came with almost no real instructions, so we had to guess as to how the mounting hardware goes together. I want this to be done right before my next track day.

its normal and fine.

do you have front and rear swaybars? if so, then they wont ever come off like that unless you jack up the whole end of the car because the swaybar will keep the inside spring up.

No aftermarket sway bars yet but I think I will make them a priority. I'm thinking Suspension Techniques.

Thanks for the reassurance. My friends have Tein suspension and they say their springs don't behave like that.
