Default Testing Waters: 92 Acura Integra GSR For Sale, rolling chassis, running parts car, $3250 OBO, OHIO

First some info on the car:
I have owned this car since 2000 and have since put a lot of money, projects, and miles on this car. It's got a lot of good parts in it, but it does need some work. I'm testing the waters as to selling this as a running, rolling chassis of a parts car. It is currently my daily driver, so it is reliable so long as you know all of the car's little problems (which are listed below). I am incredibly honest about the car so there should be no surprises for the buyer. The reason for selling is that I am looking to get a new car (funds for down payment)so I have more time for school and don't have a car that I like to work which would distract me from my studies. This car has a lot of potential and/or donor parts for a willing 90-93 Integra or other Honda. Any parts not used could pretty easily be sold on Ebay. Car is located in Columbus, OH. If I sell this, I will give the new owner a burned cd of all the documentation I have kept for this car, which includes a lot of part numbers and descriptions from the swap and also pictures over the car's life. I had lots of plans for this car, but am just running short on energy, time and money to finish what I wanted to do. Lots of great stuff to 'steal' from this car for a new project!

ASKING $3250 OBO, any reasonable offer will be entertained, no low-balling

The good:
-Transmission is one of a kind, bought from a guy who was building a roadrace project car and abandoned the project (paid

well in excess of $1500 for this transmission). 8.8 lb flywheel is fun!
-Lots of name brand parts, and this is a rolling chassis with a reliable (running) motor.
-B16A Swap was pretty well documented through pictures and a journal
-I'm honest and will tell you every little thing wrong with this car, so there are no surprises.
-Rare second generation GSR, all factory parts necessary to swap into another cable tranny honda
-VTEC moldings, Factory VTEC-ready engine harness, JDM Gauge cluster matches JDM engine type, stock motor = reliable/blank canvas for mods
-Recent replacement of master cylinder
-Hawk HP+ front pads have amazing stopping power
-Extras can possibly be thrown in if needed/negotiated
-Did I mention this is a running parts car? No need to pay/hassle with towing it home!

The bad:
-Chassis has around 200,000 miles on it, and has evidence of accidents in the past. All accident damage has been professionally fixed and it only has minor dings (I still park in the last space in parking lots). This is an old car, and rust is popping up all over the place which is why it is spray bombed. Rust spots were sanded to bare metal and primed/painted.
-Ground wire likes to come loose on the starter... easy to plug back in
-Suspension bushings are shot, including trailing arm bushings
-Brakes' pedal pressure is very weak... uses lots of pedal play to stop (probably needs pusharm adjustment on brake booster, replace right rear caliper, and possible replacement of brake booster)
-Needs a camber kit for the front, and an alignment
-Left rear toe arm is frozen in place
-Engine needs timing belt change, but have all new in-the-bag parts to change water pump, timing belt, and tensioner
-Cam seal leaks
-Needs new female end of plug for fog light switch ($5 from anyone parting out a car, and easy to solder in)
-Radiator has a pinhole leak
-Inconsistent idle at times, (probably caused by combination of corroded grounds, air in the coolant from pinhole leak, and light-weight flywheel)
-Engine could use a tune-up
-Interior is mostly intact, some broken plastic clips, particularly in the trunk. Light cigarette burns in seats (from previous owners), but in pretty good condition
-Rear Spoon strut bars have some good scratches from hauling my mountain bike around.
-ABS electronics are almost totally removed, but ABS lines still remain.

The neutral:
-No air conditioning
-No power steering
-No cruise control
-No trunk carpet, or sound deadening
-Spray bomb, two-tone, Flat black paint, but it was well masked around the jams and two-tone line.

WARNING 56K, Pictures are very high resolution!

Stock motor, with no accessory belts, stock intake and 2.25" custom cat back

The wheels that will actually come with the car. Will probably need refinished, and will not come with centercaps. Good Yokohama all season matching tires with plenty of tread.

Old interior shot, currently looks the same minus the head unit. Notice the Japanese gauge cluster with 9000 RPM tach, and 8200 RPM redline. Highly desirable graphite cloth interior.

B16A stamp shot, this is the 2nd gen OBD1 motor, not the super cheap B16A swap.

These wheels DO NOT come with the car. Tires/wheels are for sale on the side, but one has a sizeable crack in it (possibly weldable). Notice that there are almost no dings on this car.

Shows how well the two-tone was masked off... clear corner side.

Shows how well the two-tone was masked of... yellow corner side.

Back half of the car.

Front half of the car, notice the VTEC moldings.

Whole car, front quarter shot.

A real GSR, notice the third brake light, lack of holes in the rear hatch glass.

This swap with a Honda LSD cable tranny runs around $2000 (from hmotorsonline.com) and this is a QUAIFFE in a freshly rebuilt short geared transmission + you get the rolling shell which has a lot of little GSR goodies, plus some name brand/swappable parts and you don't have to pay shipping....

Drive it home! It's my daily driver, so yes it is reliable. Just needs a little work, and I don't have as much time or money as I used to with school.
