F23A4 in a CRX?
One of my friends with an accord is selling his F23A4 motor. I was thinking about getting it for in my 91 CRX Si. But I wanted to see if anyone one knew if it's been done before or the difficulty of the task? It's a 2.3L USDM SOHC ULEV VTEC from a 98 Accord with 148hp.
Any advice or input otherwise would be helpful. Thanks for looking.

F-motors have been put in CRXs, but you don't see it too often. Difficulty-wise, it is about the same as an H22 install. I wouldn't consider it unless you're getting the motor very cheap, or you just want to have a motor that almost nobody has in a CRX.
Our EF H22A motor mount kit may work for 2 of the 3 mounts you may need to modify the transmission mount. Same idetical process as and H22.

well its cute that you post the crank horsepower of the enigne, but most b16a's make more then that.
the advantage of that motor is the torque, and it has pleanty.
good luck with one wheel peeling and torque steer.
all of first and second will be spent moving diagonally to the right.
(im very much joking!!!!)
some of the fastest civics are worked accord motors swapped. the disadvantage of it is theres never really been a bolt in way to do it.
