Default distributor question

i recently heard that you can replace the stock dist on a b16a with one from a LS motor. if this is right, what is better about the LS dist? stronger coil? better design?

Default Re: distributor question (91 Civic B16)

They are internally identical, the only difference is the housing. There is no need to swap out unless you can't find a b16 dist. onlyproblem with using the ls dist is that you need to cut off the front leg in order to clear the vtec solenoid.
