Hard Starting (Intermittent, when its warm)
Sometimes when I go out to my car to start it (last two days) it has been a tad dificult to start it when it is warm. It starts, then bogs out to death, and refuses to ignite. I am thinking issue with distributor. I changed Cap and Rotor and it was good again, but it conked out once more. I get out of the car, tap a tad on the dizzy, and get back in, start engine and we're good to go. is there a connector behind my rotor that could be loose?
its your MAIN RELAY. It controls your fuel pump. Where you turn the key on before you start the engine, the fuel pump comes on to pressurise the fuel system. When your car start then bogs then dies, it just used up the last of the pressure from when you parked the car. to get unstuck, just hit the dash right above your left foot a few times with the key off, then try starting the car.
