VIS carbon fiber hood and B-series engines on an EG?

VIS carbon fiber hood and B-series engines on an EG?
I'm looking at buying a VIS carbon fiber hood for my EG, the only problem is that I heard if you have a B18C in your Civic you have to cut the hood for it to be able to close.
Anyone know if this is true?

The first gens had no problem, but I believe the second gens have a problem. I have a VIS hood on my B18C. It's close, but doesn't touch.

No....but there was a thread on here 2-3 years back by Tom talking about how the "new" hoods don't fit well.
