<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by another thread from 2 days ago asking the SAME QUESTION &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the ek uses narrower bushings in the lca that the shock mounts to.
you will have to grind the bushings down in order to make the ek shocks fit.
you will have to do this every time you replace the bushings as long as you are using those shocks.

or you could buy the parts specifically for your car.</TD></TR></TABLE>

well, (sorry i dunno the name of it)
the bracket that attachs the bottom of the strut to the LCA, couldnt it be swapped right onto the 96-00 struts, unless that diameter is a diff. size.

unless your talking about the rear shocks, cuz u cant swap the brackets

I know your question has been answered but I would like to say that I have almost the identical situation (except that I own the shocks)... and the only problems you will run into are the LCA bushings as Voyage34 said, and the other problem you will run into is that your stock front shocks have a brake line holding bracket attached to it, so you will have to deal with that brake line in some kind of way... but that's not as serious as the bushing. (by the way I'm trying to develop a solution to that problem.... I think I'm going to attach the bracket to the damper fork... any sugestions would be great ^_^ )
