Default Wheel Hop

I noticed when my car was stock back in the past I could easily chirp my first to second shift. As time past, the more mods I put on it, the chirp becomes wheel hop. Is this normal when as you get more hp or is it becasue of worn parts and bushings?

What year is your car? New tires don't grip well. As some time goes by with the tires, they become grippier. Also, you may just be shifting faster now. No biggie though, everyone has wheel hop...'cept me

Its a 94 Gsr. The tires were replaced in the end of 99. Beside wheel hop, I also noticed my car tend to want to steer itself to the right when I reline shift. Torque steer?

the wheel hop\torque steer is pretty normal you can try replacing motor mounts with polyeurathane that will help but it will make your shifter vibrate a bit how bad is the wheel hop does it feel like the dash is about to fall off or just a little bit?
