Is it necessary to change the struts too if you are looking to add lower springs? I have been looking at Tein springs, but I want to know if there is any impact of not changing out anything else.

depends on how much you lower it. people that put very mild lowering springs (1.2-1.5") on their cars do not generally change out the struts. there is no way i would lower a car like 3" on stock struts. you will end up having to take apart the suspension again and redo it with aftermarket struts.

Thanks for the info. That's exactly what I needed to know. I was only looking to drop 1 to 1.5 inches.
