damn slowly came on car has 64,000 mile on it, well taken car of, just had an oil change about 1000 miles ago. Only thing i can think of is that i haven't cleaned the air filter from the intake. No irregular sounds from the motor. Maybe in need of basic tune up ???? need some suggestions thanx

 

no the damn maintenance light comes on every 7500 miles or so, there's a button below your right foot under the dash, hold it down till it turns off with the vehicle running, no big deal, nothing to worry about your car won't break.

 

the light just comes on at certain intervals. i think it goes by mileage. it dosen't mean anything. there is a button above the gas pedal to reset it.

 

alright ill try that in the morning man isnt that annoying

 

yeah its a red square button. hold it down and watch the light disappear. heehhehe

 

yeah i just had to do that i hit 24,000 the other day

 

i think its a little ignorant to just outright ignore the maintenence light -- check ur manual to see what is scheduled for that interval, and see if you need it....or do it yourself, it cant hurt.
