Default quick confirmation on this honda part

I need a new ISB so I found BaulyCivic's how to post on replacing it. I took the bearing out of the transmission and it looks a little different than the one that I got from the honda dealer. The new one has 9 smaller ***** in the bearing while the one i took out has 8 bigger *****. I don't know if anyone will be able to tell for sure from my pics but please tell me if my new bearing is the same thing just made differently. maybe I'm just being paranoid but I don't know. Thanks for the help.

side 1 (new bearing on the left)

side 2 (new bearing on the left)

they seem to be the same thickness

and the same diameter (new bearing on the top)

thanks in advance to any helpful/informative answers.

umm bro..
the only difference i can see here is that your old one has oil in it and the new one doesnt, wich is def normal.
wich equals no difference.

But in the first pic looks like there is rails on the old on. But its no diff, just a lil change in design.

If the bearing fits rock it....

Most likely they found the 8 bearing design just wasn't working out right, they do track how many times they have to replace em under warranty, and then if they need to correct a problem they just do rolling changes. Maybe the new design will last longer for you.

(That's my impression anyways)
