Default Speed sensor

I have a 90 CRX DX and a B16A1 what speed sensor do i need to get or what do i need to do to make it work

so i just ues the sensor or do i have to change clusters and does anyone have on for sale

just install the cable speed sensor, plug the cable in and it should just plug straight into the back of your usdm cluster.

well it got cut when we pulled the motor out guy thought i had a new one

just pick one up from a junkyard or the dealership. i actually might have a brand new one sitting in my garage if you want that.

you can use the stock one,works fine just pop it out the old tranny and into the new b16 tranny

are you sure? i heard you have to have the b series speed sensor and the only usdm b series cable vss's are out of 90-93 integras

If i want to replace my electrinic Vss with Cable speed sensor, will it be ok

you mean the other way around right? cause you know our cars come with cable...But if you use electric then you gotta use a different gauge cluster like from a 94 teg or 96 civic .etc anything that is electric

oh yes...replace it with a cable or get a different cluster....Vtec doesnt even work on your motor huh? seeing how it needs speed reading to engage vtec
