Default JL Audio 500/1 cutting in/out

Well I barely got my equipment installed. But all a sudden I'm starting to have some problems. The JL 500/1 was working fine, then all a sudden it cut off and went into thermal mode when it wasn't even hot at all. Thermal mode seems to go away, but the amplifier is still cutting on and off on the subwoofer. The rca wires end caps seems to be loose when connected, really loose (how do I fix this? just clamp the endtanks to make it smaller?). Anyways I thought that was the problem so I took another backup pair i had and directly connected it, but it was still cutting on and off. What could I troubleshoot? I know the amplifier was working fine in perfect condition. I tightened the wires on the amplifier, and moved the input wires to a different slot. I took the subwoofer out, wires still in good contact.

How's the ground? How's the remote wire connection at the deck? How's the power connection at the battery and fuse???

Ground is 0ga going into a a ground dis block, with 2 4ga coming out of it, single remote wire from the head-unit all the way back, splitted into 2 and connected to each JL Audio 500/1 and JL Audio 300/4. 0ga power and a anl fuse up front, and 2 mini anl fuses up in rear. I'll double check all the fuses (front and rear), the JL Audio 300/4 works perfectly normal.

Edit: Right now I have the remote cut on the JL Audio 500/1 so it won't turn on at all, and the rca's disconnected. Until I find out what to troubleshoot. Hopefully it's some minor issue and not the amplifier.

Well, if the other amp is working fine, and it's powered and grounded at the same points, then the problem may be internal in the 500/1.... Maybe it's time to pull it and have it serviced?

Well found out the problem, cause of my crappiness install. I lost one of the allen screws to the distribution block, so it was not getting full contact connection. Doh to me, thought it was fine, I'm going to go buy a new allen screw in a little bit. *slaps myself in the head*....I should of known....here's some pics for fun...this is during the install so yeah not fully done, so flame on..

Front Focal 165a Components, custom MDF plate/spacers by me [first time doing this]

Found a new temp screw, cause they don't have the exact one I want. Works like wonders now.

I love all the knukonceptz item. The 1/0ga from Knukonceptz is about the same size as my Stinger 1/0 gauge, the Knukonceptz actually might have a little more thinner strands it seems. I took some pic comparing but weren't clear at all. RCA's I like a lot, looks really nice, shields on it looks really thick. I like both power and ground distribution blocks, no allen screws, take out the ends put wire in, stick it in and screw it on, kind of time consuming a little but overall I like it. The only thing I'm not happy about is the endcaps of the rca's are not fitting snugged. Not sure what I'm going to do about that, I did email them.
