My RPM gauge isn't working...

Default My RPM gauge isn't working...

What could cause this? Engine speed sensor? where is it located?

Spped sensor is for the speedometer and not the rev counter/tach. Rev counter takes its signal from the distributor (AFAIK) via the ECU.

Check your engine grounds first. Then ensure your cluster connections are not loose.

already tried the speed sensor. it's not it. speedo still works

when my tach stopped working it was cause of my Dizzy, and I never figured out why...sorry man lol, but thats all I got for you other than check all your connections in your cluster

Why would you check the speed sensor...it has nothing to do with the rev counter/tach. Read the rest of the posts above
