Hey guys, i got a gsr swap from a del sol.....sadly i thought the shift linkage would fit my eg hatch...but it doesnt..

my question, what should i do with it, and what car did it come from?

any ideas? it fit fine on the del sol, so i wrongly assumed it would line up fine on my eg..

i just want to know what to do with it, cause i definitely don't need it.

It's from a Del Sol VTEC model, which is shorter than an Integra linkage. Sell it and buy an Integra shift linkage.

yes, del sol shift linkage wont fit on eg. It is shorter. I got GSR shift linkage on my EG hatch, fit perfect.

get yourself a integra linkage

i got that same linkage, its worth about 100.00

thats hard to find linkage.

so sell it for 100.00 and buy integra linkage

 

Just my $.02, I've used '99-'00 civic Si linkages on EG's and they work fine too. If you can't find any 'teg linkages anywhere...... and not that I don't believe you, I have never seen it with my own hands, but I was under the impression that a Del Sol VTEC linkage would work in an EG.

 

the kid had wrecked dohc vtec del sol next to his house..... (with leather seats no less) so i guess he took it off of it..

and i've already ordered the right linkage, i'll just throw this delsol linkage on ebay.
