fluid questions
I have 112k on my baby, and im about to do a tune up and replace the fluids ect.
I have 3 manuals so i can probably do what i need to do, but so far i've done the tranny fluid, oil, topped off the raditor and checked the spark plugs and wires. I don't know when the spark plugs or wires or dist. were changed, but i have that thing for emissions where honda will do all that for free ( which im planning on doing when i get my t-belt changed). Now, for my questions, which fluids need to be OEM?
Is it powersteering and tranny? Or are there more? and what DOT brake fluid should i use, or should that all be flushed when i get my brakes done?

they probably wont flush it when you do brakes but its DOT 3, OEM tranny fluid, powersteering doesnt really matter but I would just get the OEM stuff anyways if you are gonna go down there and get the transmission oil and thats about it.

You can get other brands but it has to say "FOR HONDA CARS". It is different, but genuie PS fluid from the dealer isn't nasty expensive.
A professional brake job gets the fluid flushed, brake fluid is hydroscopic, it attracts water, water is attracted to heat, (hot calipers), water corrodes steel pistons and calipers which make them sticky and eventually sieze. When I do a brake job you get a full system flush, I do not squeeze the pistons back in and force the junk back up towards the fluid reserviour, this is bad on an ABS car, put your bleeder hose on the bleeder port open the port and press the piston in and allow the fluid and water and trash to go out the bleeder port into your catch can.
