Default Finishing up swap few questions 92 si -> JDM H22a swap

First thing, Background....

I am doing a JDM h22a swap on a 92 Si using the h23 harness and a p13 ECU.

First thing, I know that all 92 civics, regardless of models were pre wired for VTEC. Is that the case for preludes?

Next, on my h23a there is a coolant sensor on both the intake and outgoing coolant connectors (or what ever you want to call them) but on the H22a, there is only one.

First, what plug from the orginal harness needs to be plugged in?

Next, the other plug is the same as the VTEC Oil pressure sensor, can I just use that plug (I know I will have to extend it a bit) and then just move that plug on the pin out?

Finally rusted cat studs suck.

for the 94-96, I know they come pre-wired, not sure on 92-93. If not just go to the P13 pinout prelude facts thread at the top of the page and run a wire from the ecu to the vtec pressure switch. As far as the coolant senors go, just use the housing from your H23. all the other plugs should hook up the same, the only difference will be the vtec pressure sensor and vtec solenoid valve. Last, on the cat bolts use air tools. On a side note if you use your H23 front coolant sensor housing, can I get the H22a housing off of you? I need the one without the sensor opening, hope this helps.

for those rusted nuts, a die grinder or a sawz-all is your best friend

yea, picked up a die grinder a few nights ago and I cut the nuts off, removed the downpipe but wasn't able to get the studs out of the cat. Today I picked up a new blow torch and knocked 2 out of the three out of there. Going in for round 4 pretty soon.

As for switching thermostat housings, I could do that, but whats the point of the h22 ECU is only going to be looking for the one sensor?

ummm just post it here, I have the part IF I wanted to do that, however, I would rather just run it the way the engine is, unless the USDM p13 looks for it (I have no clue about that) I need info not parts.
