Ok this is really strange. Whenever it rains and Im in low rpm’s accelerating it rattles something fierce under my car! What the hell is this? It kinda sounds like one of my heat shields maybe...but it only does it when its really wet out. Anyone else have this problem?

i've expierenced the same thing. kinda wierd. 2-4k rpms. but i have a 94 h22a swap. heat shield sound here too. yup only when it rains. just noticed it yesterday actually.

 

Yeah exactly ...between 2k-4k. It def sounds like a shield rattling. I guess the low rpm's make the engine vibrate enough to cause the rattle. It has to be in gear and under load though...Because I cant duplicate it in neutral. But why only in the rain?? I can also feel the vibrating almost up throught the steering wheel. Mine kinda seems to come from the bottom passenger side.
