Wow, that took the intelligence level of a 3 year old eh?
To the OP: I wouldnt want to tow more than 150-200 puonds, and even thats pushing it.
A DelSol and a Ridgeline are 2 totally different vehicles. Just dot tow more than the car is made to handle.

my friend just towed a mini u haul trailer from new york to california.. (it was one of those things that looks like a spaceship) so it can be done, original motor with about 180, 000 miles though it did make me chuckle i definately shouldve taken a pic of it.. good luck and he got his hitch at Lowe's btw
i saw one on a sol the other day. i was about to buy the car, but then i saw it and said WTF!? towing **** with a sol?? forget this, the car has been abused, if it has ever towed anything.
People have modified rear-half del Sol's as trailers and towed them around. It can be done safely, however the first thing to go will be a clutch if you're trying to ride out all that extra weight from a stand-still.
It can be done, it has to be a very small load though. I saw it here in Cali. about a month ago. Some chick was towing some tires from it looked like a 4'x6' small trailer in her yellow Del Sol. The car was'nt made to tow, your car your call.
My EL had a hitch for a bike rack when I bought it. There are probably more options for hithces on D Sols than one might imagine for this very use. These hitches can be used to tow. Although the official tow capacity for Civics is 0.00lbs, so Del Sols is probably like -50.0lbs or something.
I'm actually moving out of S Florida to go back to Cali. I thought of getting a trailer, but when I considered all the fun roads I'd come across during the trip I decided I'd rather pay a little more than lose out on all that gushi stuff. I think now all I'll bring is a small suitcase so I can really rip it.
