I can't stand the multi color bumper lights on the 4th gen cars, and I don't like the clear. Does anyone make an amber bumper light for the 4th gen cars (90-91 specifically)? Or should I get a can of amber paint and go have fun with my old clears?

Visions would be sweet, but I doubt anyone could still find them.

 

I have a picture of an EF with beautiful all amber corners, but I havent received an answer where he got them. If anyone wants to host the pic for here, I'll send it. I was thinking about buying some clears and painting them (I think marked001 gave me that idea), but clears are so cheap and they are made they same way as stock (the back half is more like a reflector). the only one that looks like it would be wrth it to paint are the jdm clear corners, but thats too much money to waste if they dont look good if you F them up.

I don't think I'm worried about other people knowing the difference, it's more of what I want (give me some f'ing visions!), but I'll try it and see how it works out. I didnt find any paint when I was in walmart last week, I guess I'm gonna try AC Moore (huge arts n crafts store)

 

You can find them once every blue moon on Yahoo Japan for pretty cheap ..like 1500~5000 YEN or $12~44USD .... For the EF-9's

Damn, we had some businessmen from Japan come visit my work, I should have asked them to find me a front conversion and some vision corners when they go back! <-that was dumb, but the first thing I thought of when I saw them .

well, I got my clears in and painted them, I wasnt too happy with the results. I'm still on the hunt for the real deal, I'll leave the stockers on for now.. JDM_DOHC_SiR - you saying the auctions on yahoo japan or the auctions on the english yahoo?

 

ok does anyone have a pic of these all amber bumper lights and so on. I tried yahoo japan but i can't read it and i don't have a thing that translates it. I owuldn't mind having all amber ones either

I think you can d/l a translator, but I can't because I'm at work and that would be a bad decision. Maybe I can find better paint, but I dont really see any around here, I tried the best places (walmart, ac moore, automotive stores) and I bought this orange paint. It sure as hell doesnt look like that. Let me know if you run across anything. As far as bumper lenses are concerned, I htink the only car that came with those were the crx sir's, but you need the jdm bumper obviously. Otherwise, that's a paint job too.

sorry, I took the "and so on" as corners and stuff, but I guess the bumper lenses could be done the same way as the corners. My bumper lenses are the originals, so they are kinda of tore-up, wouldn't look good painted. I may get some clear bumper lenses too and paint them if I can find that damn paint. Maybe someone can send me that paint if I pay you through paypal or something. I hate not being able to find something...

 

hey can you check out which side it is you have?
the exact same thing happened to me... the pos flew off on the highway, i know i have 3 of one side and only 1 of the other (i think its passenger side i need) but ill double check tonight
