Default to stroke or not to stroke

well my engine requires a rebuild now. and i am wondering if it is a good deal to stroak the b18c5/6 engine?
i found a eagle crank and rods on sale and would bore the cylinders for some fresh forged pistons

wont the stroaking change the ratio between bore and stoke? and change the character of the engine?

I would probably just boar it out & get a set of "long-rod" pistons & rods from Endyn to use with the stock ITR crank. The "long-rod" setup helps the Rod/Stroke ratio of the ITR to make a little more power at high-rpm by reduceing piston speed, and the overboar takes care of the displacment to 2L...

You would still need to re-sleeve bec with the 87.2mm crank you would need 85mm pistons to bring it up to 2L. That will cost you more mullah.
