It was intermittent before, but now when starting the car the light permanently stays on. What are the common causes of this?

Could be the control unit, you might check for recalls . the other common problem is the clockspring under the steering wheel. it would be way cool to know what code is stored in the control unit

 

anywhere I can check for recalls, that won't cost money to look them up? I have looked around and can't find anything. Also, the car is out of warranty... so will they repair a faulty SRS component on a 2002 car with 110k miles? Not for free, I assume, but are discounts on items like this common if it's a common problem? I've mainly dealt with BMWs, where the dealership generally tells people to go F themselves, lol. Question bout a clutch problem. Just replaced the master cylinder and the clutch is just staying pressed to the floor because I cant get any pressure in the line what should I do?

 

the honda with clutch problem is a 97
