well i got it..lets see around June. it's a 1988 Honda Crx i got it for 300 bucks at a salvage yard...it had no engine, no transmisson. lol i bought a Zc engine for 400 bucks. Got some Civic Hx wheels, Dc header short shifter, magnoflow exaust(had it on my other 87 crx) lol it was hard work but i got it running and now imma have fun with it
when i first bought it.....

Also: Do you have to be atleast 18 to buy a car in Texas? Because in NY, the local junkyard guy refuses to sell me a car (to be used in ice racing) because he says that I have to be 18. Is this some kind law, for liability reasons or something else?

hmmmm...i'm not really too sure about that..i mean i just turned 18 last saturday so i bout the car when i was like 17 haha but they just gave me the title and sent me on my way

Wow, awesome deal!

I was at the junkyard a couple of weeks ago and saw that BIG *** monster machine that literally rips the engine & tranny out a car. I was looking for a crx and happened to turn to see the life being wripped out of a poor CRX! Yea, it was sad, all I could do was watch.

WOW!!!!! that sux!!! yea...i talked to the guy the day before the crx was running with a stock si engine and was gonna sell it for 600 running. But the next day i came and the mechanics were taking out the engine and i was like....WTF?!?!? lol
and i was a bit mad...i talked to the owner of the yard and he waas like...sorry i sold the engine for 400 bucks...i was pissed....but he sold the shell for 300 bucks so it's all good

lol. yea i got lucky...now i need to get this baby some fenders and a center console, and maybe a catalytic converter suckers LOUD!!!!!!!!! anyone?? lol

Maybe you should work on your car in the driveway instead of the street car looks better, but its need to be lowered 4 sure.
