Default best suspension for me?

1. adjustable to stock height
2. not TOO harsh to daily drive
3. $700+- range
4. stiff enough to prevent body roll

i was recommended to go eibach springs, koni shocks but its a bit more than $700. any other suggestions?

Points 2 and 4 are contradictive.

Also, you'll need to give alot mroe information toget any useful informatiuon back. What car? What do you intend to do with it (autox, street only, hpde, etc...)?

For reference, my DC2 is using Koni Yellows and GC 400/400 rates (220/110 stock) and there is still plenty of bodyroll present. A little stiff for the street, and no where near stiff enough for the track, though I autox and hpde it fairly regularly anyway.

its only gona be a street car. i just want to have a more steady ride while keeping some comfort

stiffer than stock to get rid of most of the body roll but soft enough to daily drive in and still in my budget of around $700

You still haven't said what kind of car it is...

edit* Assuming its an EG from your name. I would recommend getting some good shocks (Koni Yellow, KYB AGX, Tokico Illumina), a set of lowering springs (Eibach pro-kit or sportlines), and a good rear swaybar with reinforcement. The swaybar will help alot with the body roll, without killing ride quality too much. You don't need to go overly stiff on the springs, but your car has the same problem mine does, which is very little front suspension travel. That means you don't want to lower too much, or you'll have to run absurd spring rates to not bottom out all the time.

when u auto-x body roll dosent matter. what matter is the alignment u have on the car that will keep the tires planted in turns..

just get tein basics

if you dont need external shock adjustment, nor any height adjustment, get Koni Reds and H&R sports. This will be a very good combo for daily. Or you can spend about $120 more than this setup and get the koni yellows with the H&R sports so you can tune the damping on the shocks easily, and be ready for any future plans with the car.

For non-race/hpde applications, I wouldn't go with custom spring rates like Tunern00b's 400/400. That is extremely stiff in back and throws off the f/r ratio. I would get some company's (say Ground Control's) off-the-shelf rates and some decent shocks. GC is adjustable up to .5" drop (and probably stock height in back), at least on Preludes, and they will stiffen body roll nicely.
