i have a 89 hatch with a b16a1 swap. ive got a prelude 2.2 vtec fuel pump and a weapon r fuel pressure regulator and am only getting 32 psi at idle and 38 at full throttle. there is also hesitation at times when i step on it after cruzin at a steady speed. i thought it was the pump so i swapped my stock one for the brand new prelude pump and still have the same problem. any one know what it could be. i was told to check the voltage to the pump. i will check it tomorrow. but i was just curious to see what else it might be

 

u sure something isn't wrong w/ that regulator, my stock one did the same thing till i got an adustable bm one. didn't fix the prob, but took care of the fuel thing. the hesitation thing is very common to these swaps i'm finding out, mine does it, and there are message boards on here all the time about it. people say swap the two O2 sensors at the ecu, mayb that will help. i'll try it here in a week or so

 

Your fuel pressure sounds low, but your O2 sensors may be backwards as well. I'd try a new regulator.

 

i had the problem before the regulator. still running a very low psi. before.
