Either or.

The platinum plug will last longer. The copper plugs will have to be changed every other oil change, but the platinum plugs will maintain OEM replacement intervals.

Up to you. I dont know for sure if that platinum plug is exactly as tough as the OEM preferred replacement part number. The standard copper plug will need to be changed just about every second or third oil change. I change mine every 3rd oil change unless I notice some signs of ingition related issues.

I like the copper plug just because when I change them, I can inspect the plug for anything that might tell me info about my motor and how its running.

But as far as performance of the plug, they will both do the job similarily, just the platinum plug may last longer than the copper.

I run BKR6E-11's and change them every 10K-15K miles. They've been working great for me for well over 100K miles.
