Need your help.....
I did a search but found no results.
I have a 91 crx si...I'm planning on adding a turbo kit. Will a 92-95 civic sohc greddy turbo kit fit on my car? and...what modifications need to be done in order for it to fit.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

It will fit. The exhaust manifold will need to be modified. You will have to move your battery to accomodate the charge pipes unless you custom make your own. You will most likely need to ditch AC if you have it. The front crossmember needs to be modified to clear the downpipe. You will need to get some sort of fuel setup since the greddy blue box and injectors will not work with your stock motor and ecu. The oil pan will need to be tapped and a flange welded to it for the oil return line. That is really all that needs modification or you could buy the drag gen2 kit for the 88-91 civic/crx which is pre-mae for your motor.

You could just get a Jackson Supercharger since they make one for the Si, but I wouldn't advise it. Because 1) superchargers suck, and 2) it costs like $2500. So, not only are turbos better for your car ie. don't put as much wear on it as a belt driven parasite, but they cost less and have more potential.

Whew! That is a lot of crap to go through for boost! Thanks for the post. I kinda had a feeling about the crossmember and ac...
I'll have to look into the drag kit.

2) are you retarded? (no offence to retarded people). Turbochargers provide -MORE- wear on the motor. The oil is heated and broken down faster, and in the case of water cooled turbos they put a little more stress on the cooling system combined with the added stress that forced induction cars already have on the cooling sys.
Please dont give out misinformation. Of if thats just your opinion, please state it as such. and poweredbyspam, sorry for getting off topic.
