Does anybody know of an easy way to check besides just looking for obvious rips and tears? For some reason my Integra sounds different. It sorta sounds like a lumpy exhaust note like what you would find on a WRX. The sound sounds like its coming from the area where the downpipe connects to the rest of the exhaust. I started the car in my garage and looked underneath and it looked like a certain section was spitting out exhaust fumes but I wasnt sure if it was that or if the wind was blowing the fumes back towards the car.

I did scrape kinda bad on a incline a couple days ago which is when I noticed but I also havent driven my car in 6 months so I might just not remember what it used to sound like.

 

well, if you have a exhaust leak it will sound like a wrx kinda, but is your exhaust aftermarket or stock?

 

aftermarket. Its basically just straight piping. No cat and a universal hayame muffler.

 

and you have 2 peice header or no?

 

The exhaust manifold is DRAG cuz I have that turbo kit.

 

i would have someone put their hand or rag or something over the end while your under there, then you can really hear it, if its really sealed up good the car should bog down when you cover it up

 

check your gaskets, then tighten all the bolts
